Will I need a short code?
No, we have a short code that can host your keyword. Short codes cost at a minimum $500 per month, and is not something most small businesses are anxious to pay.

What software do I need to install?
If you are currently on the Internet (and you are), you have all the software needed to run our applications. DirecText fis a web-based application that will run in any up-to-date browser, and can even be operated through some smart phones.

How does the opt-in/opt-out process work?
Currently, Openlink Mobile only provides standard rate opt-in programs, which makes them very simple to operate. When a user texts your keyword to our short code, they are opting-in to receive information from you at no additional charge. If at any time the user wants to stop receiving the messages, they can do so by texting 'stop'. Our applications are all designed to the standards set by the Mobile Marketing Association's (MMA) Best Practices Guidelines.
